In the heart of the holy land of Vrindavan, at Beelvan, a beautiful act of compassion unfolded on March 5th, 2026. Saha Charitable Trust had the privilege of visiting the local Gaushala, a sanctuary that provides a home and protection to over 100 Gau Mata.
The air in Beelvan carries a unique peace, and witnessing the selfless dedication of Dolat Giri Maharaj and his team is truly inspiring. During our visit, we were able to contribute to the daily care of the animals by providing:
Fresh fodder (Chara) for the resident cows.
Grains (Dana) for the majestic peacocks that roam the grounds.
In Indian culture, the cow is a symbol of motherhood and selfless giving, while the peacock represents the vibrant beauty of nature. Supporting their well-being is not just charity; it is a sacred duty (Gau Seva) that brings us closer to the roots of our heritage.
We are deeply grateful for the guidance of Dolat Giri Maharaj and the support of our community that makes these initiatives possible. Together, we can ensure that these symbols of peace and divinity are cared for and respected.
