Introduction

Trees are the foundation of a healthy environment. They provide oxygen, reduce pollution, offer shelter to animals and birds, and help maintain ecological balance. Understanding the importance of protecting nature, Saha Charitable Trust continues to organize tree plantation initiatives across different regions.

On 9th March 2026, a meaningful tree plantation drive was organized at Devra Baba Gaushala in Vrindavan, Mathura. The initiative aimed to increase greenery in the area and support the natural ecosystem around the gaushala.

Plantation of 200 Fruit Trees

During this plantation drive, 200 fruit-bearing trees were planted within the gaushala premises and surrounding green areas. The selected trees included:

  • Aam (Mango)
  • Amrud (Guava)
  • Chiku (Sapota)
  • Mousumi (Sweet Lime)
  • Santra (Orange)

These fruit trees were chosen carefully because they not only help improve the environment but also provide food for cows, birds, and other animals living around the gaushala. Over time, these trees will contribute to a greener and more sustainable ecosystem.
